Q&A with Leah Sykes, Partner/Founder

Q: Tell us about your company’s journey and core values.
Leah: We built Andor Law with a vision to create the best possible client experience for property managers. Our firm exclusively serves housing providers, allowing us to develop highly specialized strategies that deliver results. We value clear communication, responsiveness, and building systems that make legal support both effective and accessible.

Q: Why is supporting Multifamily NW important to you?
Leah: Our roots with MFNW go way back. The association is a powerful voice for our industry, and its work makes a real difference—for our clients and for our communities. From board service to lobbying to forms development, we’ve found meaningful ways to partner and grow alongside MFNW.

Q: Can you share a success story that highlights Andor Law’s strengths?
Leah: Our best stories are bound by attorney-client privilege—but trust us, they’re good ones! Serving this industry requires creative problem-solving, and we’ve built a team with the skills to handle just about anything that comes our way.

Q: What’s next for your firm?
Leah: Growth is the word! We’ve welcomed new partners—Lindsey Adegbite, Gordon Magella, and Michael Althouse—and several talented attorneys to better serve our clients. We’re also improving our intake process and exploring software integrations to streamline communication and case updates.

Q: What advice do you have for those wanting to get involved with Multifamily NW?
Leah: Just jump in! MFNW staff are incredibly helpful, and there are so many ways to get involved—advocacy, forms, education, events, governance, and more. Volunteering is rewarding both personally and professionally, and we’ve seen firsthand how it can open doors and build lasting relationships.
