Join us for an essential training session on fire safety management in multifamily housing complexes, hosted in collaboration with leading fire safety and rescue organizations. About the Training: In an effort to bolster safety and preparedness in apartment living, Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue, Hillsboro Fire & Rescue, Clackamas Fire District #1, and the American Red Cross are teaming up to provide an immersive training experience. The training will cover:

  • Basics of Fire: Understanding the fundamental aspects and behaviors of fire.

  • Common Fire Causes: Identifying and addressing typical fire hazards in apartment complexes.

  • Fire and Life Safety Inspections: Learning how regular inspections can prevent fire incidents.

  • Fire Investigation Process: A look into how fire investigations are conducted.

  • Youth Fire Setting: Discussing the risks and prevention methods for fires set by youth.

  • Landlord Responsibilities: Key responsibilities to ensure the safety and security of your property.

Additionally, the American Red Cross will discuss their critical role in assisting those displaced by fires, ensuring you know how to respond effectively in emergency situations.
