Multifamily NW's Project Care - Bringing Joy to Families and At-Risk Youth

Welcome to Multifamily NW's heartwarming initiative, Project Care, where we come together as a community to make a difference in the lives of those in need during the holiday season. Our project focuses on supporting three incredible organizations, Rose Haven, Janus Youth, and the Wichita Center for Family and Community, by collecting donations to purchase Christmas presents and needed goods for the facilities.

Here's what you can expect from Multifamily NW's Project Care:

Our Mission

Project Care is all about spreading love, compassion, and holiday cheer to those who need it most. We believe that every child and family deserves the warmth and joy of the holiday season, regardless of their circumstances.

Rose Haven

Rose Haven serves as a day shelter and community center in Portland, Oregon, catering specifically to women, children, and gender non-conforming individuals experiencing the trauma of homelessness, poverty, and other disruptions. Offering compassion and practical support, Rose Haven helps guests maintain their dignity while providing necessities such as meals, hygiene products, and access to social services, all within a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.

Janus Youth Programs

Janus Youth Programs is a leader in creating innovative services for children, teens, and families in Portland, Oregon. Founded in 1972, Janus offers a range of services designed to support youth struggling with homelessness, abuse, and addiction. Their programs include emergency shelters, residential care, street outreach, and resources for independent living, all designed to provide young people with opportunities to build a successful future.

The Wichita Center for Family and Community

The Wichita Center for Family and Community in Portland provides vital resources and support to local families in need. The center serves as a hub of community engagement and support, offering food pantries, clothing closets, educational programs, and family services. It's a pivotal place for empowering families and strengthening community ties through comprehensive support and resources aimed at improving quality of life for all members.
