Event Details

The average absenteeism rate for all industries in the United States in 2023 was 3.1%, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).  This was a 0.5% decrease from 2022, when the rate was 3.6%. The leading causes of absenteeism are illness and injury.

This program will provide a quick overview of the types of protected leaves employees use for a variety of reasons. But most importantly, the goal of our time together is our discussion on how we manage employee leaves in our organizations.  Together we will share our experiences managing employee leaves, what has gone well and lessons we have learned from those situations that did not go so well. In addition, sharing with each other our best practices and bright ideas for managing employee leaves.

Looking forward to a great conversation!  Hope to see you there!
