Multifamily NW thrives thanks to the dedication of members who volunteer their time and expertise through our committees and councils. Whether you are passionate about events, education, advocacy, or community service, there is a place for you to get involved.
Unless otherwise noted, please contact the staff liaison if you are interested in serving on a committee.
Please note: To serve on a committee or council, you must be currently employed with an active member of our association.
ACE Awards Committee

The ACE (Apartment Community Excellence) Awards honor the very best of the multifamily industry. The committee is responsible for planning and executing every detail of this signature celebration.
Apartment Report Advisory Committee

Staff Liaison: Jonathan Clay, Government & Public Affairs Manager
The Apartment Report Advisory Committee oversees the survey, publication, and launch of the Multifamily NW Apartment Report, published every April and October. The committee coordinates the report and the annual debut luncheon.
Career Development Committee

This committee focuses on fostering professional growth within the multifamily industry. Members plan programming and resources that support career advancement.
Forms Committee

The Forms Committee oversees all updates and edits to the Multifamily NW Forms Collection. There are subcommittees for Eugene Forms and Washington Forms.
PDX Charity Golf Committee
Chairs: Paul Jordan, Cascade Management & Trina Latshaw, Mt. Hood Restoration

The Golf Committee organizes the annual Multifamily NW Charity Golf Tournament, supporting local community partners.
Defense Fund Golf Committee
Chair: Dan Mason, MG Properties
Staff Liaisons: Kristen Davies, Vice President of Operations & Natalie Osorio, Financials Operations Manager
The Defense Fund Golf Committee plans the annual Defense Fund Golf Tournament, raising funds to support legislative and legal efforts that protect the multifamily housing industry.
Maintenance Fair Committee
Chairs: John Osgood, Stratum & Jesus Barragan, HD Supply
Staff Liaison: Laura Webb, Event Coordinator
This committee plans and executes the annual Maintenance Fair in Portland, including the trade show, keynote, and educational sessions.
Membership Committee

The Membership Committee promotes recruitment, retention, and engagement by highlighting value-added benefits and encouraging participation.
Service Committee

The Service Committee organizes service projects and charity drives throughout the year, strengthening ties with the broader community.
Spectrum Committee

The Spectrum Committee produces our largest event, the Spectrum Educational Conference and Trade Show. With more than 30 classes and 1,000+ attendees annually, the committee drives the vision and execution of this major industry event.
Government & Public Affairs Committee

The Government & Public Affairs Committee helps guide the association’s lobbying efforts and public policy engagement at the state and local level.
Political Action Committee (PAC)
Chair: Shannon Shaffer, Jennings Group

The PAC Committee raises funds and develops strategies to support elected officials and candidates who understand and advocate for the multifamily housing industry. The committee works to ensure members’ voices are heard in critical policy discussions.
ASPIRE Rising Leaders Committee
Chairs: Alicia Vennes, Pilina Management & Trinity Harper, 1-800 Plumber + Air
Staff Liaisons: Valerie Palmer, Administrative Assistant & Marketing
The ASPIRE Rising Leaders Committee builds programming and networking opportunities tailored for emerging leaders in the multifamily industry. This includes educational sessions, mentoring initiatives, and leadership development experiences.
Women’s Summit Committee
Chair: Tiffany Wallace, Cushman & Wakefield

The Women’s Summit Committee plans the annual Women in Multifamily Leadership Summit and ongoing programming. The committee creates opportunities for mentorship, leadership development, and networking among women in the multifamily housing industry.
Suppliers Council
Chair: Kimberly McCafferty, Lifetime Exteriors

The Suppliers Council advises the association on behalf of supplier members, supports supplier outreach, and leads the Reverse Trade Show.
MFNW has Regional Councils that bring engagement and events closer to members across Oregon.
Bend Council
Chair: Mindy Miranda, Sierra James Construction

Focuses on networking and education opportunities in Central Oregon.
SWV Council
Chair: Hillary Gammon, Principle Property Management
Staff Liaison: Lacey Bowman, Member Engagement Manager
Leads events, service projects, and advocacy in Eugene/Springfield and surrounding communities. SWV committees under the council include: SWV Charity Golf, SWV Social, SWV Education/Prism, & SWV Service.
Salem Council
Chairs: Jon Girt, PG Long & Julie Nolin, WRB Construction
Staff Liaison: Lacey Bowman, Member Engagement Manager
Provides leadership for networking, education, and community initiatives in the mid-Willamette Valley. Salem currently has a Salem Service committee, with more committees coming soon.
